We had our Year 7 Summit students attended STEM Fest at Deception Bay SHS. They engaged in design and electromagnetic activities before the reveal of this year’s challenge. Students will work collaboratively on their project which will be presented at the Showcase evening later in the year.

It was also great to see Drew O’Sullivan, a CBSHS past student leading one of the activities as a QUT Ambassador. Drew is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering specialising in electricity and renewable power and spoke about his time in studying Physics at CBSHS as the building blocks to his interest in STEM.
