As both the principal and a passionate alumni of Clontarf Beach SHS, I believe in the power of high expectations to inspire students to reach their full potential. I’ve seen firsthand how pride, passion, and clear pathways can transform a student’s journey. I work to instil these values in the next generation, encouraging them to take pride in their accomplishments, pursue their passions with vigour, and set purposeful goals that guide them toward success. By fostering an environment of support and challenge, I hope to empower students to believe in themselves and build the confidence they need to achieve their dreams.

What truly sets our school apart is the sense of community we share. Students, teachers, and staff have come together in support of each other, whether it’s celebrating a student’s personal achievement or coming together for school-wide events. The positive energy is infectious, creating a school where every individual feels valued and supported. This sense of community has made term 1 a very enjoyable start to our school year.

Despite the challenging weather conditions this term, we’ve seen a remarkable improvement in student attendance. Even with unpredictable cyclone our students have shown great resilience and commitment to their education. Parents and guardians have worked closely with the school to ensure students arrive on time, while teachers have been flexible and understanding. This dedication has not only kept our classrooms full but also contributed to a positive and consistent learning environment. We are proud of everyone’s efforts to prioritize their education, no matter the weather!

As we prepare for the upcoming term, let’s take a moment to celebrate our successes and be proud of the hard work we’ve put in. The first term may be over, but the journey continues. Let’s keep the momentum going, remain committed to our goals, and support one another as we move forward into a new term full of possibilities.
